Zoe Hewitt is a seasoned news and entertainment reporter who has interviewed a multitude of well-respected actors including Chadwick Boseman, Harrison Ford, Diane Keaton, Will Smith and Kate Winslet.
She worked for a number of years with “Good Morning America” on their Oscar broadcasts, covering red carpets such as the Vanity Fair and Elton John AIDS Foundation parties.
Now, Zoe writes for a multitude of outlets including Variety, an award-winning publication for the entertainment industry. She specializes in the Artisans section focusing on the important crew members who are integral to the production process. Zoe has completed numerous location and set visits on behalf of Variety, including an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Disney’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, a visit to the hallowed grounds of the Disney Animation studios for “Frozen 2”, a trip to Budapest for the series “Jamestown” and others.
Zoe’s Variety article based on a visit to the set of David Ayer’s new movie “The Tax Collector” was a finalist for an LA Press Club journalism award in the Entertainment News/Features category; it was the first time an article from the Artisans section made it that far in the awards process. She wrote about productions filming in high-risk areas.
Zoe enjoys hosting/moderating Q&A panels for film festivals and special events. This past year alone she moderated four panels at ComicCon International with standing room-only crowds, as well as panels at WonderCon and SIGGRAPH.
